A Journey Into ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER -- This is a somewhat dated website (from the late 90's) that does have some excellent background material on the disorder, as well as some (at times) heartbreaking stories of family and individuals who are struggling with ADD.

ADHD News' Adult ADD Forum -- This site has some very informed opinions and the occasional poster with many serious problems in addition to ADD. You can learn about medication(s) and alternative treatments, talk to others (both young and old) about your symptoms, and learn about coping strategies (legal and otherwise) for dealing with ADD symptoms.

Straterra Drug Home Page -- This is Lilly's home page for information on the drug Strattera which is the only FDA approved medication for treating ADD in adults. Lots of information, but the jury is still out as to the overall benefits of Strattera. Most either love it or hate it, and the side effects can be many and more severe than expected. Caveat emptor!

Adult ADD.Com -- Another Lilly site that is (kind-of) medication information free, but still talks to ADD in Adults. What ADD is, how to recognize it, and what you can do about it. Is this site designed to "sell" Strattera? Decide for yourself.

Play Attention -- This website speaks about an alternative treatment method for ADD that involves bio-feedback. Strictly a sales site but still kind'a interestin'.

Driven To Distraction -- This US News & World Report magazine article is quite informative and depicts Adult ADD fairly with a balanced discussion on the psychological/physiciological issues. This article will be discussed separately in an additional blog post.
